My conclusion of this week sex-related news is that we, the human race, are pretty confused about our bodies and how to cover them up – or not.
Boys wearing skirts to fight against sexism
Let’s start with this great initiative by a French boy in high school who invited everybody, especially guys, to come to school wearing a skirt, in order to fight against the repeated sexist acts that are going on in his region.
I don’t consider France, the country I’m from, to be particularly avant-gardist or rule-breaking, so it’s a pleasure to see this kind of projects, especially when it’s initiated by teenagers. What saddens me though is that outside the high school, a group of right-wing dicks were protesting against this campaign and asking the students to go home and change. But hey, there will always be repressed, ignorant people around and this campaign spread the word on sexism around the world, so it’s a big win!
Nulepsy
This is a documentary about an elderly man who tells us about his life and about his pathological need to be nude. It’s sweet and the music is beautiful. Check it out!

Of course, it reminded of Tobias Bluth from genius show Arrested Development who’s a never nude, the exact opposite of a pathological nude…
Nude bodies and a black marker
Photographer Lauren Renner is the author of “In Other Words”, a photo project that aims at redefining the relation between identity and stereotypes. Her subjects are naked and on their bodies, words are scribbled with a black marker, words that represent the prejudice, clichés and other niceties that we all encounter in our daily life.
Here’s a peak.
Katy Perry and Madonna go leather for V Magazine
I’m not a big fan of these two but I like it when the theme of BDSM is taken outside its dark, dusty cliché world and makes it into the mainstream air.
