Surviving the chocolate overdose by now? Well, the new year approaches and I’m back in Barcelona to provide all the goodies you need. Today, let’s watch David Bowie’s 10-minute-long, epic new NSFW video for his song Love Is Lost, remixed by James Murphy.
Love Is Lost, but not talent. Nor Sex.
For last Halloween, David Bowie released a $12-video for James Murphy’s remix of Love Is Lost / Hello Steve Reich. However, a few days later, Barnaby Roper directed a new and awesome video for the song, and recycled the idea of hand-clapping, by asking himself: “Just how many handclaps does it take to construct two human beings from scratch and film them making love?”.
So, you have guessed, the idea is to digitally create a sex scene from scratch! The clip is safe for work until about half of the video, and then it gets hotter and hotter. Everything is supported by the electrifying song, while two virtual people passionately having at it.
The result is a refreshing and quite hypnotizing film, which supports the idea that sex and art make one.
