Remember my Canadian adventure last year, when I attended the Feminist Porn Awards in Toronto? Well, a year has already passed and it’s time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the now international event created by sex shop Good For Her.
I won’t be going this year because apparently it’s not safe to take the plane anymore – and also I need to save up for my shootings this summer! – but I will be there in heart since two of my films, Don't Touch Me and If You Dare are nominated for the award – yay!
Fifty-one films are on the list, from all styles and backgrounds, and all sexualities. I would like to highlight a few of them which move me or make me curious.
Shutter by Goodyn Green
The other day, I mentioned the queer short Want Some Oranges by Goodyn Green, and now her film Shutter is nominated. The film has been going around festivals, because it’s quite a great, beautiful piece by the German photographer. It revolves around five short carefully staged in different settings but all very intense and moving.
Love Hard
This docu-portraiture composed of five films features BDSM as a humanizing experience. This piece of art by Gala Vanting shows how BDSM allows us to relate to one another, creating a special bond, an intimacy or a way to express ourselves. The film can be rough, be prepared!
Breathtaking!

Bound By Borders
I haven’t seen this scene yet but the trailer makes me curious! It seems to be a really cool insight into the intimacy of Tobi Bill-Meyers and Bryn Dagger, who finally find each other again after being separated for six months.
