According to Indian mystic guru Osho, there is a wide difference between sex and sexuality and Michael Donovan shot Catharsis to show how sex has to reside in your guts instead of your brain.

This erotic short film depicts our visceral sexual need and its rawness with a glacial soundtrack as well as light contrasts to keep on with the metaphor of body against brain, sex against sexuality.
I thought it was deeply erotic as it tries to show the rawness of desire instead of simplifying it to a reasonable exercize.
